Editor's Note: A timeless bobbin lamp base crafted from solid oak and hand-turned in a West Sussex workshop. Part of the Sintra collection, the sculptural column is carefully finished to highlight the natural beauty of the wood.

Fitted with a solid brass bayonet bulb holder and discreet integrated switch, the lamp balances craft and function with ease. A natural jute flex adds a considered finishing touch, while all components are professionally fitted and PAT tested. Available in raw oak for a softer, evolving tone, or dark oak, tinted with natural pigments to deepen the grain.

An elegant ogee detail flows into a gently weighted base, giving the piece stability and quiet refinement. Designed to sit effortlessly within both classic and contemporary interiors, this oak table lamp base is understated, enduring, and beautifully made.

The lamp base shown in the photos is crafted in French Oak, with a Heritage Oak finish.

Exposed wood surfaces are finished with Osmo Polyx Oil, selected for its durability and protection against everyday wear.

To maintain the finish, wipe away any spills or water marks promptly using a dry cloth, as prolonged contact with moisture may cause staining. Avoid leaving liquids or damp items on the surface.

For routine care, gently dust or vacuum using a soft brush attachment. Surfaces may be cleaned occasionally with a lightly damp cloth. Osmo Liquid Wax Cleaner can be used periodically to refresh and protect the finish.
